Empowering Lives Together

Our Founder- G B Rao

Thiru.G. Bhujanga Rao IAS was born in a humble family to poor parents, but he worked his way to become an IAS officer in the Tamilnadu Government which he served for 30 years. He died in an accident (slipped from the stairs while coming down and sustained a head injury) in 2002, while in service. Yet his spirit lives on. The Trust he founded in 1992 is involved in services for the poor and the voiceless. Here is a small tribute to his life.

Our Founder -Rose B rao

Tmt. Rose B Rao was a very socially conscious citizen in addition to being a dutiful wife, a dedicated mother and loving friend. It was her desire to serve the most marginalized that encouraged us to set up the shelter for women with disabilities in 2016. She passed away in December 2018 unexpectedly from a brief illness. But her spirit continues to guide us to this day.
