Dorcas Research Centre has been awarded the contracts to implement the World Bank Supported TN RIGHTS Project which is a community based rehabilitation program for the districts of Kanchipuram (all blocks) and Chennai (Phase-2) in the 9 zones -Thiruvottiyur, Manali, Madhavaram, Tondiarpet, Ambattur, Annanagar, Valsaravakkam, Alandur and Adyar. This project is implemented directly under the aegis of the Directorate for the Welfare of the Differently-Abled.
The positions for which we are seeking applications are:
– Counsellor cum Case Worker
– Physiotherapist
– Special Educator for Persons with Intellectual Disability
– Special Educator for Persons with Communication Issues
– Community Facilitators
– Community Rehabilitation Workers
It is a full time job and will be based out of the respective districts, particularly the field staff have be to based out of the respective block/zone.
Preference will be given for eligible and qualified Differently Abled Person or persons belonging to their family members.
